Hi, I'm Frederick Collins, A 29 year Veteran Police Officer of the Chicago Police Department and I'm running for the office of Mayor of Chicago. I will work immediately toward the implementation of a Chicago ELECTED SCHOOL BOARD coupled with the CTU and Chicago public school Parents help. To maximize a unified collective effort to develop real-time improvement strategies and policies in READING, MATH, SCIENCE, and CRITICAL THINKING METHODS to give our Chicago students the advantage to compete with other students worldwide.
Mayor Collins will also as a first time requirement, mandate all Chicago public school students starting in headstart through the twelfth grade, to be required to learn to READ, WRITE, and SPEAK in both English and Spanish.

to keep our children safe and engaged
Mayor Collins will bring back the use of attendance officers to help combat chronic absenteeism and increase Chicago Public Schools' attendance rate by 97%.
Mayor Collins will implement a new college associate initiative program to provide an associate professional labors degree to Chicago students who maintain a B average for four years of their high school education. And for those Chicago students who Participated in the above new program started by Mayor Collins, these students will be able to attend any City of Chicago College FREE OF CHARGE to further their education. It will be paid for by the City of Chicago, including all books and tuition fees.
Mayor Frederick Collins will also do away with cold bagged lunch and bring back "HOT MEALS" to all Chicago public schools with a certified fully staffed kitchen crew to serve our Chicago students and staff a "HOT HEALTHY MEAL" for breakfast and lunch as well as a light meal for our Chicago students and staff who attended after school activities.

Mayor Collins will also work side by side with The CTU and Chicago public school parents to make sure that a plan is for smaller student class sizes, a teacher aid or two for each classroom, and two school nurses in every Chicago public school.
- Mayor Collins will immediately terminate the Aramark contract and return all custodians and engineers under the purview of the Chicago Public Schools to ensure that everyone from teachers and staff to students is on the same page when it comes to keeping their schools clean
